We have named our strategic process Delphi for a reason: we demand that our clients “know themselves,” so they can present authentically. Delphi involves a suite of proprietary data and analytics; this is not “crunching old data in an AI LLM” as many entrants are doing, comparing applications and essays to the past. We are different in approach and scope. Delphi has gone deep, using an understanding of institutional behavior, markets, and finance to gain an understanding of the present and the future—neither of which are cleanly predicted by past information. Our founders, graduates of Dartmouth College, Columbia Business School, and Durham University, with professional experience in London, New York, Miami, Bogotá, and Los Angeles, have spent their lives surrounded by the successful alumni of the most elite institutions in the world. Having navigated the high-stakes worlds of Hollywood and high finance, they bring vast international expertise in education, business, and life to our practice.

Founder Tim O’Hair is a veteran Hollywood producer and executive who has spent decades guiding storytellers. He holds a certificate in College Counseling with distinction from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has been trained and certified by the British Council (UCAS). He is an active member of IECA, HECA, and NACAC, and he and his team regularly attend conferences and undertake continued professional training, including personal visits to dozens of the world’s top colleges and universities.
