Who are we?
Level College is a boutique college counseling practice. We are intentionally selective, built around a proprietary narrative methodology, and led by Tim O’Hair, a Hollywood veteran, author, and educator working with students globally.
What are the pricing plans?
Personal, strategic counseling takes time. Most packages include basic services (a list, essay), a country (i.e., USA, UK, Canada, Ireland) and the first tranche of five schools. Add ons are available.
What is a “selective school”?
While selectivity does not equate to quality, selective schools typically accept fewer than 50% of those who apply. Our clients tend to target schools accepting fewer than 25%, or other highly ranked (QS top 100) universities, including Ivy Plus and Oxbridge.
What is the timeline?
Ideally, the real work begins the year prior to graduation (i.e. junior year). The process will take a number of months, and it is best to avoid last minute stress.
Can we meet in person?
We typically meet via Zoom or other online platforms. In person meetings can be arranged with sufficient notice and subject to travel.
Is there a guarantee?
No. We cannot guarantee a particular admissions result. What we will do is work on a strategy that has the potential to dramatically improve results. Our core philosophy holds the goal is not to “get in” but to succeed once enrolled and beyond.

Artificial Intelligence
AI can be an effective tool, but it is not a replacement for the “unique you” in an effective application. Be wary of models build on the backs of public LLMs which look backwards, not forward.
Building a narrative takes time
Know thyself… Those words were transcribed on the entry to ancient Delphi. But teens, like most of us, are not trained in communicating our own story in a compelling fashion. With elite academic pedigrees a given, authenticity is the asset. Our system helps students understand how they are the heroes of their life’s narrative and how they can communicate both who they are and what they have achieved on their unique journeys – so they become undeniable institutional matches.

How is billing handled?
To formalize your engagement, we request a 50% initial payment, followed by monthly payments continuing through November of senior year. No work can begin without an initial payment.
Can we add to a plan?
Certainly! You can upgrade, of course, and some services beyond the contracted package are available on an a la carte basis, but only as package add ons.
What if I want to change or cancel?
We offer a downgrades or (should you choose to cancel,) a full refund within ten business days, minus an administrative fee and a charge for any Personal Support hours utilized.
Is everything confidential?
We take privacy seriously, and conform to the highest standards of data protection (including the GRPA and FERPA). We also expect clients to exercise discretion, especially with proprietary materials subject to copyright.
What kind of discounts are offered?
We have worked with top support vendors in various areas, including standardized test prep, tutoring, research projects, and more. We are constantly looking for the best discounts to pass on to clients, with savings not available direct from the providers!
Will you work with my school counselor?
Absolutely! In fact, it is often best for us to coordinate with your school, as they are providing so much necessary support in the process. Let’s discuss how this works best for you.
